pendingGuest in state

Guil sets a GuestList property as pendingGuest={this.state.pendingGuest}, however I don't recall him setting pendingGuest in state in any of the previous videos. In what video is pendingGuest defined in state?

I struggled with this momentarily, too, but we added pendingGuest: '' in the App's state back when we added the functionality for adding new invitees, since it's also what we're using in our form input, and to add the guest to the guest list.
