11,975 PointsHi Joshua,
try it with the normal else statement and without else if, then it should work. Change the three equals signs to two, since it only has to be equal and not identical. I've included the solution below. I hope I could help.
Go on like this!
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;
$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;
if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0 ) {
echo $studentOneName . ' made the Honor Roll';
} else {
echo $studentOneName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentOneGPA;
}
if ($studentTwoGPA == 4.0 ) {
echo $studentTwoName . ' made the Honor Roll';
} else {
echo $studentTwoName . ' has a GPA of ' . $studentTwoGPA;
}
?>
