I need $fullName when you echo it to be "Rasmus Lerdorf". I checked and everything seems to be correct and I get this error. Bummer! $fullName does not seem to use $firstName and $lastName here is my code: <?php //Place your code below this comment $firstName = 'Rasmus'; $lastName = 'Lerdorf'; $fullName = ' "'. $firstName .' '. $lastName .'" '; echo $fullName; ?> Not sure what I am missing.
<?php
//Place your code below this comment
$firstName = 'Rasmus';
$lastName = 'Lerdorf';
$fullName = ' "'. $firstName .' '. $lastName .'" ';
echo $fullName;
?>

17,801 PointsJoshua, you are writing some extra stuff there
'''<?php //Place your code below this comment $firstName = 'Rasmus'; $lastName = 'Lerdorf'; $fullName = $firstName . ' ' . $lastName; echo $fullName; ?>'''

26,193 PointsI don't think you need the quotation marks in your $fullName. The task is just specifying the output in quotation marks, but should not be a part of the variable itself. The rest looks correct:
$fullName = $firstName .' '. $lastName;
