83 Pointsplease help me
I tried and searched in the video, but nothing like this has seemed to be covered
what does setattr do and how do I use it?
class Student:
name = "Your Name"
def __init__(self, name, **kwargs):
self.name = name
def praise(self):
return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)
def reassurance(self):
return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)
def feedback(self, grade):
if grade > 50:
return self.praise()
return self.reassurance()

10,124 Points- setattr() will set attributes from a dictionary passed to the init method from **kwargs (key word arguments).
So, if you initialize a Student object after adding this setattr functionality :
tej = Student(name ="Tej", age = "20", country = "Canada")
you should be able to access tej.country even though you didn't specify it in the class declaration.
- To use it, iterate through kwargs and call setattr(self, key, value) on each item.
