Please point me in the direction of understanding how to make the input value affect <li> index? Select <ul> children?

I've tried adding a const ul to select <ul> then after the if statement trying

if ( law <= 2) ul.children[index] = law law.style.fontweight = 'bold'

But it doesn't work either.

You may need to undo your changes, but the answer is super simple. try

if (index === i) {

nb: If you look at https://teamtreehouse.com/community/code-challenge:16852 it seems that a few of the other users stumped by this challenge over complicated things.
