Problem

I am type the <nav> tag right after the link in the header, but it keeps coming up with an error.

I am not entirely sure what you are asking, but I'll give this a shot You should have the following for nav

<nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
</nav>
