6,191 PointsYou need to remove the . before the footer in your css. In HTML <footer> is it's own element.
You would use .footer p if the markup was something like:
<div class="footer"></div>
then the css would be:
.footer p {color: slategrey;}

You need to remove the . before the footer element in the stylesheet as you are referencing a footer tag not an element with the class footer. Try this and the challenge should pass.
