Regular Expressions - named groups

Whenever I run this code it tells me it didn't find anything and there is no regex object. I don't know where I am wrong with my pattern..

emails.py
import re

string = '''Love, Kenneth, kenneth+challenge@teamtreehouse.com, 555-555-5555, @kennethlove
Chalkley, Andrew, andrew@teamtreehouse.co.uk, 555-555-5556, @chalkers
McFarland, Dave, dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com, 555-555-5557, @davemcfarland
Kesten, Joy, joy@teamtreehouse.com, 555-555-5558, @joykesten'''

contacts = re.search(r"(?P<email>[\w+.]+@[\w.]+)(?P<phone>\d{3}-\d{3}-\d{4})", string)

You still need to search for the separating comma and space, even though you're not including them in your groups:

contacts = re.search(r"(?P<email>[\w+.]+@[\w.]+), (?P<phone>\d{3}-\d{3}-\d{4})", string)
                                                ^^

THANK YOU!!!! I've spent way too much time trying to figure this out!

I think you would need to include the \s to indicate space (since it's not part of a list), correct?
