Remove self-hosted blog from WP.com profile

So, I used to have my blog hosted at GoDaddy under www.keithdoyle.me/blog and it was connected to my wordpress.com profile. Well, The hosting expired at GoDaddy and I don't have access to that anymore. The site is hosted at Bluehost now and I'm trying to install Wordpress to the same domain (keithdoyle.me) without the "blog".

When I am in my Wordpress.com account, I can't delete/remove/unlink the old blog URL from my account and it shows up in my Dashboard.

Any idea how to delete it? I've tried both wp.com and wp.org and they both tell me to ask support on the other forums...

I'm at a loss.

Are you trying to remove the old blog from your Wordpress.com profile or are you trying to remove the blog part of WordPress on your new site or both? just trying to get straight what's going on. Your WordPress.com profile should have no affect on a self hosted WP installation.

I think I figured it out.

Basically, I used the WordPress stats plugin on my self-hosted blog (linked my self-hosted blog to my WordPress.com profile for stats). My self-hosted blog was deleted because my hosting account expired. Since I didn't delete it through the admin panel, WordPress.com didn't know to remove it from my profile.

I had to post in the WordPress.com forums and then someone was kind enough to respond and tag my post so that a mod would look at it and remove the URLs.
