1,040 PointsSeemingly correct code is not accepted
It says it doesn't get the right output for S(), says it got dot-dot-dot, what is exactly what it wants. Other combinations with dash work aswell..
class Letter:
def __init__(self, pattern=None):
self.pattern = pattern
class S(Letter):
def __init__(self):
pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
super().__init__(pattern)
def __str__(self):
outStr = ""
if len(self.pattern) > 0:
for index in range(0,len(self.pattern)):
if index > 0:
outStr += '-'
if self.pattern[index] == '.':
outStr += 'dot'
else:
outStr += 'dash'
return outStr

24,063 Pointsthe code challenges run additional tests behind the scenes I think. What i did was create a list with the corresponding "dash" and "dot". And then return "-".join(list)
