# gallery {

  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

you did this right but left a space in between the # and gallery

Hi, to remove the margin from the element, select the id using "#".

          #The_element_id { // If no space after "#"
         }

Or, if you want to remove the margin from the all elements, you can use this selector. "*"

          * {
        font-size: 18px;  //No element ID is given.
   }

It's a good idea check this page http://tutorials.jenkov.com/css/selectors.html#universal-selector

I hope i have helped.

There should not be a space between the # symbol and the id name... #gallery

yes, just don't leave the space between the # and gallery everything is fine with your code
