7,006 PointsSOLVED: Compilation error: Unexpected Symbol
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, to my knowledge this code is correct, yet I keep running into this error that I have an unexpected symbol ')' (10,39). I've removed all the parenthesis on just about every line and I am just missing it, can anyone else take a look?
using System;
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class Program
{
static void Main()
{
Console.Write("Enter the number of times to print \"Yay!\": ");
var entry = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
int i;
for(i=0; i< entry; i+=)
{
Console.WriteLine("Yay!");
}
}
}
}
Edit: Ok thanks, I don't know why I didn't see that one earlier

You wrote "i+=
" for the increment clause of your for expression, which is an incomplete statement.
It's not clear if you intended to write "i+=1
" or "i++
", but either would work.
