stuck in basic html challenge 2-2 make the texk inside the list into a link the first to cakes.html so on,,

You need to remove the http:// from each href.

Also if you are using the target attribute, it needs an equal sign. target="_blank"

i did that already sir and i re tried it doing what you said still wrong it says you need to set the 'href 'attibute of the first <a> element to cakes.html

this is the question sir Make the text inside each list item a link. The first item should link to cakes.html, the second to pies.html and the third to candy.html.

Copy the links like I have them, if you have Candy.html instead of candy.html they won't work.
