Targetting the span element in a class

I attached the span element to the .intro class, but it keeps referring to the past question when I submit it saying the font size should be equivalent to 20px in em's. I never changed the values from the last question but that's all it keeps getting stuck on.

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1>Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>
    <div class="primary-content t-border">
      <p class="intro">
        Lake Tahoe is one of the most <span>breathtaking attractions</span> located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation.
      </p>
      <a href="#more">Find out more</a>
    </div>
    <footer class="main-footer">
      <p>All rights reserved to the state of <a href="#">California</a>.</p>
      <a href="#top">Back to top &raquo;</a>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>
style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.intro span {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

span {
font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

Hey there, you are really close. it looks like in your new answer that you screwed up the answer to the previous question. The directions were to create a new rule that targets the span within the .intro class. You didnt need to modify at all what you did from the previous question. So you need to take the "span" selector out of the first rule. Then, you need to select the span tag from within the intro class. The selectors you had for the first rule are exactly what you need for the second rule. so it should look like this

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */ .intro { font-size: 1.25em; line-height: 1.6; }

.intro span { font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; }
