the

Example.java
public class Example {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    ShoppingCart cart = new ShoppingCart();
    Product pez = new Product("Cherry PEZ refill (12 pieces)");
    cart.addItem(pez, 5);
    /* Since a quantity of 1 is such a common argument when adding a product to the cart,
     * your fellow developers have asked you to make the following code work, as well as keeping
     * the ability to add a product and a quantity.
     */
    Product dispenser = new Product("Yoda PEZ dispenser");
    /* Uncomment the line following this comment,

Neil;

It is wanting an overloaded method created for addItem().

Post back if you are still stuck.

Happy coding,

Ken

Hi Neil,

You have written an overloaded method for addItem() that takes a Product and adds one of that Product to the cart. You've done that, but you haven't quite placed it correctly.

An overloaded method is a method in its own right; it isn't part of the original method it is overloading. It will be in the same class, though. Maybe consider where your curly braces are placed?

Steve.

Steve-

I'm still getting up to speed on my errors; however, i can't see where my curly braces are off below is my error bundle

/User.java:3: error: cannot find symbol private String mFirstName =firstName; ^ symbol: variable firstName location: class User ./User.java:4: error: cannot find symbol private String mLastName= lastName; ^ symbol: variable lastName location: class User 2 errors

That's a different challenge, right? There's noUser in this one.
