The font once imported with the google fonts as written in teachers notes shows symbols such as - we're in a funky way.

The font once imported with the google fonts as written in teachers notes shows symbols such as - we're in a funky way.

Is there a way to correct it? It seems it does not recognize the symbols even though they are basic.
