This is my code but I'm not sure why it isn't showing up when I run it. TIA.
shopping_list = []
def add_to_list(): shopping_list.append(item) print("Added! List has {} item(s)".format(len(shopping_list)))
def show_help(): print("What should we pick up at the store?") print(""" Enter 'DONE' to stop adding items. Enter 'HELP' for this help. """)
show_help() while True: new_item = input("> ")
if new_item == 'DONE':
break
elif new_item == 'HELP':
show_help()
continue
add_to_list(new_item)

231,271 PointsIndented as it is, the "add_to_list" call is part of the "elif" code block, but no code after a "continue" will be executed.
The "add_to_list" line should not be indented, which will allow it to be executed when the continue does not run.

231,271 PointsIt might help to see the code again (as it is after the change) and with Markdown formatting. Even better, make a snapshot of your workspace and post the link to it here.
