Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types list.remove()

This is my answer: states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue']), but I keep getting an error. Task is taking too long.

Have anyone seeing this error?

lists.py
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue'])

I believe your syntax is correct, I believe the taking too long could just be an error on the treehouse side. I'd try it again and see if it is working now.

instead of putting the whole element as the argument for remove, use slice notation [] and refer to the element by its index.
