Tracking Cookies and Re-Targeting

Hello,

My client claims that other competitors working in the same field are using our tracking cookies to collect data from our site as to where our customers are coming from, and where they are going to. I have been trying to turn off these 'tracking cookies' in wordpress and can't find out how. Has anyone else had experience with this or tracking cookies?

Thanks!

Hi Matt Van Dyck,

I'm no security expert, but it seems like there should be a way to encrypt the cookies. If not, turning them off sounds like the next best option.

Our WordPress teacher, Zac Gordon, should be able to help you out. :)

Hi Matt,

Sorry, this isn't something I have experience with either :-/

Maybe Randy Hoyt or Jason Seifer might know?

Matt Van Dyck can you be a little more specific? Are you specifically putting cookies on your site? I think we need a bit more info to figure this one out.
