You said strictly , we shouldn't use the refrence to list , but it looks like you have used list in every problem . Correct me if I am wrong.

13,930 PointsMost of the exercises use the previous selected element as the starting point of the traverse, 'list' is used three times. I think you should use whatever is simpler and understandable.
