Treehouse Badges Plugin

I think I am doing something wrong. I am following the class and when I come to:

"Finally, we'll come back and add our final plugin,
03:12
which you can find in the show notes for our Treehouse Badges Widget.
03:18
We'll install and activate this
03:21
and then come under settings and click on Treehouse Badges.
03:27
We'll enter in Alice's user name,
03:34
and then we can see her 12 most recent badges,
03:38
her total number of badges, profile picture, as well as a referral badge
03:43
that can link to to get extra credit to get discounts on signing up at Treehouse."

If I install this plugin with my user name, I get all my badges listed in a single colum not in a grid on the settings page. I also do not get the referral badge in the right column. Do I have a flakey download? 03:48

Hi!

The download changed a bit since then. I assume you're using the plugin listed on wordpress.org and not the original download file? If it's the one on wordpress.org you may need to tweak the CSS a bit to get it just right.

Ok, Next question Zac: I have been working on the extra credit and building my own portfolio site (www.lonsanders.com). Although I am not finished yet, I checked it out in some of my other browsers for compatability. It looks ok in Safari and Chrome, but, in Firefox the menu looks like it is stacked. In IE10 it is totally messed up. I obviously need to go in and tweek the CSS. My problem is that I have taken so many classes in the last few months that I have forgotten which class to review for Media Queries (webkit, etc. stuf). Can you point me in the correct direction? PLEASE kick my but down the proper path.

The CSS Foundations course has a badge in media queries. You might also be interested in the Build a Responsive Website course which talks some about media queries as well.
