Hey Brian, to link to a section on the current page, you set the link's href attribute to the pound sign (#) plus the value of the corresponding section's id attribute. Here's what I mean:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Portfolio Page</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <img src="../img/logo.png" alt="Site logo">
    <ul>
      <li><a href="/index.html">Home</a></li>
      <li><a href="#portfolio">Portfolio</a></li>
    </ul>
    <h1 id="portfolio">My Portfolio</h1>
  </body>
</html>

Thank you gentlemen. It's a lot to take in.
