JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Working With Numbers Using Math Methods

Unable to pass challenge task 2 of 2. JavaScript Basics - Working with numbers - Using math methods

If Math.floor is the solution for rounding downwards to the nearest integer, Then it would be incorrect to say "Bummer: Did you use the Math.round method?" Change Math.floor to Math.round and now it becomes "Bummer: Did you use the Math.floor method?"

script.js
var temperature = 37.5;
alert( Math.floor(temperature) );

You may have overlooked this part of the instructions: "Important: In each task of this code challenge, the code you write should be added to the code from the previous task."

The second task says to "Open an alert dialog a second time ..."; so when you complete that task you will have two alerts, one using "round" and one using "floor".

Right you are
