Update to Treehouse Badges WordPress Plugin: Affiliate Widget and Random Badges

Hi folks!

For those of you who have been using our WordPress plugin to display your recent badges on your site, we have an exciting update :)

We now have two new features:

  1. The ability to display random badges
  2. A widget for displaying an affiliate link to Treehouse.

Here is the link to download the plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/official-treehouse-badges-widgets-and-shortcodes/installation/ (although it's probably easier to search for "Treehouse" from within the admin area when adding a new plugin).

'Parent' badges would be nice. ie- the course or project completed, instead of all the individual badges. So there would be a "How to build a WordPress Theme" badge, and when you hover over it, it would say "8 badges" or list them. A real space saver if someone doesn't have room to show more than 4-8 at a time on their site.

Thanks for all the WordPress courses; -you've been cranking them out, Zac! That's my focus.

thanks for getting back Zac. Watching your series really makes me want to switch from .com to .org. I'll have to do that sometime in near future :)

An ignorant Q from a noob: can we add the plugins in WordPress.com in anyway? I don't have the plugin option but would like to add my badges in my WordPress.com site.
