Using get_post_thumbnail for page header image on blog page conflicts with thumbnail from last post

Hi All,

Making a site that has a different header image on each page, in order to do this I am using the get_post_thumbnail to display the featured image set by the user as the page header. And it works perfectly, until I get to the blog page, Then the last posts thumbnail / featured image overrides the page header thumbnail.

Any Ideas?
