I am not sure why my code does not work. I tried using a variable and this but both did not work. Please help me out! Thank you.
You've just learned how to use the jQuery methods text() and html(). Use the appropriate jQuery method to select the h1 element by its class name and set its contents to "Student <span>Profile</span>".
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<title>Document</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1 class="profile-header"></h1>
<p class="profile-text"></p>
<script
src="jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
$('.profile-text').text('I am a web developer');
$('.profile-header').html('Student<span>Profile</span>');

Challenge Question : You've just learned how to use the jQuery methods text() and html(). Use the appropriate jQuery method to set the contents of the $('.profile-text') element to "I am a web developer".
Error Message I am getting: Bummer: Did you make a call to the "text" method on the jQuery with a selector of ".profile-text"?
Here is what I have typed in my app.js:
jQuery(".profile-text"); $(".profile-text").text('I am a web developer');
From what I can tell I am calling the text method when I used the ".text();" Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
