Using the on() method, attach an event handler to handle click events on the ul element with the class of .student-list.

$('.student-list').on('click', (e)=>{}); what is missing from my answer, it is working fine in my local project.

Can you explain why the " (e)=> " was used and not: " function (e){});"

Nothing wrong with your code, however the challenge is expecting event to be passed and not e. 

$('.student-list').on('click', event => {});

Treehouse can be picky sometimes to ensure people are getting the correct answers.

yep, I found it after several tries, when the error was referring the argument specifically as event is missing, :D
