using the re module

how do i make a new variable named liberty that is an re.search() for the word "Liberty"

basics.py

file_object = open("basics.txt")
data = file_object.read()
file_object.close()
first = re.match(r'Four', data)
liberty = re.search(r'liberty', data)

In the regular expressions challenge The Basics, you have it nearly correct.

The challenge is looking for "Liberty" not "liberty". Change your last line to:

liberty = re.search(r'Liberty', data)
