This is the first course that I've had this trouble with... any suggestions?

31,009 PointsTry a different browser. Make sure everything is up to date. Teamtreehouse's devs like chrome. Google chrome is your best browser.
if your Using IE tough luck things break left and right.
Don't forget to clear browser cache. Also check if your DNS server is working or not.
Use the
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
dns servers from google.
