If you are on the first task all you need to do is add a doctype to the index.html file.

Try this:

index.html 
<!DOCTYPE html>

This line of code tells HTML "This is a HTML document!".

I hope you understand.

Edit: Changed 'doctype' to all caps since the code challenge doesn't seem to accept 'doctype' in all lowercase letters.
