3,284 PointsJust a few syntactic errors.
class Panda:
species = 'Ailuropoda melanoleuca'
food = 'bamboo'
def __init__(self, name, age):
self.is_hungry = True
self.name = name
self.age = age
def eat(self):
self.is_hungry = False
return f'{self.name} eats {self.food}.'
def check_if_hungry(self):
if self.is_hungry == True:
# change to self so it references the current instance
self.eat()
The check_if_hungry()
method can then be further refactored to this if the condition is already a boolean
:
def check_if_hungry(self):
if self.is_hungry:
self.eat()
Hope this helps!
