What is the problem?

Alright, I need you make a new method named feedback. It should take an argument named grade. Methods take arguments just like functions do. You'll still need self in there, though.

If grade is above 50, return the result of the praise method. If it's 50 or below, return the reassurance method's result.

first_class.py
class Student:
    name = "Your Name"

    def praise(self):
        return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)

    def reassurance(self):
        return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)

    def feedback(self,grade):

        if self.(grade) > 50:
            return self.praise()
        else:
            return self.reassurance()

       if self.(grade) > 50:

Here you don't need to use self because grade is a parameter variable and it's not part of the object's properties or methods. You only use self.(something) to refer to the object's properties or methods.

This should work:

       if grade > 50:

I'm not a native English speaker so sorry if I don't explain it better!

I was wondering what self. was for on the 2nd challenge, TY! btw is this only for OOP or can it be used outside of OOP for other functions?

You don't need to set self after the if. if grade > 50:
