18,572 PointsAn list container element (ul or ol) can only contain list elements (li) within in them while list elements can have other types of child elements. To achieve what you are trying to do (lists inside of lists), you'll need to put your sub list container elements inside of the listing elements. So, your code should look like the below:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>HTML Lists Challenge</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>HTML Lists Challenge</h1>
<ol>
<li>Stop</li>
<li>Drop</li>
<li>Roll</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>
Shapes
<ol>
<li>Squares</li>
<li>Circles</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Colors</li>
</ul>
</body>

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Shapes is only supposed to appear once and it needs to have an ordered list inside it. Instead, you've made a copy of Shapes and put it inside a second unordered list. Try it again with these hints in mind!
