6,342 PointsIn all the challenge you have to add your code below the comment line "Place your code below this comment". This is the only reason why it throws error. Your code is correct.
php
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;
$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;
//Place your code below this comment
if ( $studentOneGPA == 4.0 ) {
echo "$studentOneName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
echo "$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA";
}
if ( $studentTwoGPA == 4.0 ) {
echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
echo "$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA";
}
?>

3,860 PointsWell your code initially runs. However I believe the challenge would like you to concatenate your your variables to your strings. Right now, you're including the variable names in the strings when they should be concatenated. Also, I believe the output for both else statements is wrong, it should read " has a gpa of".
These challenges are picky but you have the gist of it down which is really awesome, it's just learning the syntax that can be challenging.
Happy coding.
