"When/when not to a CDN" link broken for me.

Could someone tell me why one would NOT want to use a CDN, from the previous stackOverflow link and the Treasure's video I am not able to think of a case where one might consider not using a CDN even when it is possible.

On a server with plenty storage and bandwidth to spare, I might elect to host everything locally to eliminate the possibility of problems when the client has any connectivity issues with the CDN server(s).

Another reason I might avoid a CDN is if I had any concerns about the way it was maintained, particularly if they may suddenly discontinue support for a version that I was depending on.

And you might want to report the broken link directly to the Support staff.
