Which track comes first?

Learn Wordpress or Wordpress Development?

I'm trying to decide which one I should take first.

Learn Wordpress is first. It teaches you the basic ins & outs of working with Wordpress as an admin, using plugins & themes, etc. Wordpress Development gets more in depth with custom fields, customizing CSS, etc, to start & then goes all the way into actually coding your own plug-ins & such.

I initially started with Wordpress Development, as I don't think they had Learn Wordpress up & running yet. I switched over to Web Design, figuring that would be more broadly useful, then went through Learn Wordpress. I went back to Wordpress Development but it seemed to me that by midway through, I'd be having a much easier time of things if I learned some PHP first, as that's the main coding language all the Wordpress bells & whistles are in.

I would start with Learn WordPress to cover some of the basics and then move on to WordPress development once you have a better understanding of the platform. In reviewing the course topics I personally think that would be the best way to go.
