why does it tell me to add 'self' to my praise method? I've added it already!

I am struggling with my class method definition. It says I should add 'self' to my method. I can't imagine where i else i could add it!

first_class.py
class Student(object):
    def __init__(self,name):
        self.name = "Sabine"

    def praise (self):
        print ("You're doing a great job, {}!".format(self.name))

hiya there! First off, be very vigilant about keeping the code precise as the challenge asked you to, Otherwise you'd be wondering for a long time about what was wrong about mine code. Secondly, challenge explicitly asked you to return, not print. Thirdly, the challenge never said anything about using __init__() method. Hence, here is how your code should look like:

class Student:
    name = "Your Name"

    def praise(self):
        return("You're doing a great job, {}!".format(self.name))

I hope it helped! (:
