2,125 PointsWhy hide the record's id? This doesn't make sense
Jonathan keeps saying its a "best practice" to hide the record's id. Yet the id is how the client queries the API to get an individual author record. So if ids are hidden, the client has no way to find an individual author record. This just doesn't make sense. Obviously the client needs to know the id. I've built APIs in the past in other languages and the id primary key is how the client gets the individual records it needs. Maybe someone can help me make sense of this.
