why $fullName = $firstName.$lastName is wrong??

You're so close, and you're going to be mad when you see this.

They want the name with a space - so you have to concatenate a " ", too.

You need to add a space between the names, like this:

<?php 
$fullName = $firstName . ' ' . $lastName;
?>
