I came to know about Treehouse early this year. But I didn't take any action even though I felt in love with it at first site.
However, I could not resist signing up for a free trial during October and for a one month paid member as from november, when I saw a recommendation from the Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism of CUNY (City University of New York). This is learning center of my dream. I hope one day I'll study under Jeff Jarvis.
I have been completely hypnotised by your great courses, especially the Wordpress Track. I am actually at the last stage. Just finding one of the code challenges a bit troublesome.
I wish, however to suggest some courses under wordpress. These courses are stated below. But before then, I wish to let you know that I left my job to go solo since April 1st this year. I survive by installing wordpress themes for client and on my wife's salary. Now that I have more confidence in my wordpress skills, I want to start my own wordpress theme/ and plugin shop as well as a wordpress multisite hosting services for local businesses here in Nigeria. I am not closing door to being employed by a web design but my ultimate goal is to own my life and time.
In order to reach a more advanced level of confidence, I am pleading that Treehouse help people like me with the following course so that we can be our own bosses more easily:
a thorough break-down of the genesis framework files structure building a custom genesis child-theme from scratch as oppose to buying a child theme
integrating bootstrap and foundation into genesis child theme (I've tried but also failed)
How to start a wordpress multisite business like edublogs
tools and recommended plugins for multisite
how hosting a multisite works
how to combine multisite with buddypress
How to do SEO audit
How to do plugin audit
how to use underscores starter theme to develop a wordpress custom theme, and finally
the wootheme file structure

9,827 Points+1 ... Liking your suggestions Teslim. I'm working through the WP track too, in the long run seeking to get confident with multisite and Buddypress integration.
Have you revisited the WP courses since a few things were changed recently? Zac's WP theme development from Bootstrap is very thorough and up to date - a good approach - leapfrogs much of the heavy lifting you'd have to do with Underscores dev from scratch. I've tried big frameworks as well but found too much baggage getting in the way of development.

21,275 PointsOf course I've gone through the latest WP theme development. I just want to master everything about wordpress. I know bootstrap makes life easier, but you might have to work with other people in the industry on a group project who are more at home with other framworks. You want to be sure you have covered all the basics. Don't you think so.
