WordPress Backup Solution

What is the best Backup Solution for WordPress? I see there are premium solutions and free solutions. Are the Premium Solutions worth the cost?

Hi, i'm using the BackUpWordPress plugin and works great, it can be configured to make backups on a regular basis and the only manual thing you have to do, in case your hosting server fails, is to make sure to save a copy of the zip file generated by the plugin. I think it's more than enough and it's free.

Hi Joel, not i'm not familiar with that plugin, but seems like it does many things that otherwise should be accomplished manually with BackUpWordPress, things like sending the backup to an external storage like Dropbox or AWS, the restoration feature of the entire Wordpress or a per file basis, that's something you will not find in BackUpWordPress.

It's seems like a great plugin.

I don't know whether it's relevant or not to your question, but I used to use Wordpress Duplicator to back-up my wordpress sites. It makes me easy to restore or clone websites to another hostings.

I opted to get the full developer suite from iThemes. I used this coupon code ITPAL25 . So the whole suite came out to $185 and allows me to use on an unlimited amount of sites including client sites. A lot of good plugins.
