I am trying to follow your instruction of mamp and my preferences are different than your. I can't get to work. I can't change port 8888 to 80. Also when I move my root folder to anther place on the computer-I get a parent directory listed as well as the Test.php file. Feeling very frustrated. I have spent the past 2 hours on about 6 minutes of video. It's simple--but not working.

ERROR There is a problem with the server ports. Each server must be assigned a unique port. Please check your configuration.
