wordpress: Page as category parent

Im wondering if it is possible to make a page a parent for a category like this:

  • Page_1 > Page_2 > Category_1 > Post_1

If I'm understanding this question correctly the answer would be no. Pages and categories in Wordpress are two completely different things and can't be combined this way. A page can be the parent of another page and a category can be the parent of another category you can't mix the two together.

Joe is correct, you cannot do this. However, you can have custom category archive pages as well as a primary archive page, which may help:
