Wordpress Plugin Challenge!?!

I thought I'd just put this idea out there in case anyone is looking for a project idea :)

If anyone is looking for an idea for a wordpress plugin to write, I really need to move 360 articles from mediawiki to wordpress.

Ideally I'd like to turn the articles into pages and keep links, images and categories intact. I found a service called CMS2CMS that says they do it but I ran their test and it doesn't work.

Hahaha, quite a challenge you're throwing out there Sarah! I wish everyone who attempts this series luck!

360 articles is a lot, especially with links, etc, however, I'd almost hypothesize it would take as much time to write as do manually :p

Yes, unfortunately it's going to take me half of forever to move manually. Since it's not going to be a wiki any more maybe I can use it as an opportunity to weed out the stubs...

But if someone did manage it, they'd have a product quite a few people seem to be looking for, if the requests I found are anything to go by.
