Wordpress Select and Crop for Featured Images?

Hi everyone!

I just on with a theme and I need to make sure that every featured image for a blog post is cropped to the same size..

I know on wordpress.com I have been prompted to select and crop the image to suit where it is going but how do I go about adding this functionality to a wordpress.org download ?

Hope you can help :) Craig

If you go into your settings and then select "media" you'll be able to decide what the sizes are for thumbnail, medium, and large files. You can also sometimes go into the theme settings and they'll let you set a default featured image size.
