Wordpress Track

Hi, I'm currently going through the JS full stack track but want to tackle the WP dev track next. What are the basics I should know before starting it? Thanks!

That's my plan too!

I'm in the fortunate position of having already developed a number of WordPress site with custom themes and plugins etc. So I might suggest you have a little play about with WordPress yourself. If you can host it yourself on a local server using MAMP (for Mac) or WAMP (for Windows).

I believe there is also a WordPress basics track.

Beyond that I'd say that a fair grasp of HTML and CSS an a basic grasp of PHP.

Hope it goes well.

Awesome thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I can self-proclaim myself as a HTML/CSS master so that shouldn't be an issue. Php might be a challenge since the extent of my knowledge only goes as far as include views/files.

Thank you nonethless and will be sure to check out WP basic track first then. .
