Wordpress WYSIWYG not making changes.

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know why my Wordpress WYSIWYG isn't working as a WYSIWYG?

E.g It doesn't resize the image, add link, centre the images, format properly.

The text and images are being uploaded properly but the styling isn't taking effect?

Hey Joe,

Is it just your images that aren't resizing properly or is it everything? Also, are the changes taking effect in the editor screen but not when you hit publish?

There could be several things going wrong here. The first and most extreme could be that your database is corrupted and you will have to repair it. Not to difficult to do, just a pain. Here is a great article on how to do that.

The other issue if the editor is not passing the changes on through the theme could be the theme itself. If the theme is not coded properly or just hasn't been updated to work with newer versions of Wordpress then that could cause the issue as well. I know that the latest version of Wordpress was just published so it could be awhile before theme creators catch up. Let me know if any of this helps and good luck!

Hey Andrew,

Thanks so much for your response, I really appreciate it. It seems like it's just the images that don't do what I want them to. The font changes work etc. but just no the images.

For example I tried centring an image and it just stayed to the left. I tried to float it to the left so that the text wrapped around it and nothing changed??

I uploaded a template which I bought from Wrapbootstrap.com.

Really confused!
