Is there a way to increase the attachment limit in wordpress. At the moment for most plugins it is 3mb, for example buddypress docs, and buddypress courseware? I have been trying to search through the files to find where I can increase it, but am having no luck.

Courses Plus Student 6,573 PointsYou need to increase these settings in the php.ini which WordPress uses to set the attachment limit.
; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
upload_max_filesize = 40M
; Must be greater than or equal to upload_max_filesize
post_max_size = 40M
