Your code seems to be correct and pasting it in to a blank index.html locally shows the following information when viewed in my browser:
Nick Pettit Designer
Portfolio About Contact
Gallery will go here.
Ā© 2014 Nick Pettit.
Can you check that the file has saved and if so it may be caching so you could try saving it as index.html in a local document to test?
Thanks

1,326 PointsHey Rich
If i create a simple notepad doc. with the ending ".html" it works just fine. i have tried several times to save and preview without luck in the workspace area.

25,869 PointsOdd, it may be browser related. If you have another browser to try I'd suggest either that or continuing locally.
Thanks

25,869 PointsHi Krishna,
Can you try wrapping the code you have posted in 3 backticks (```) on the line before and after your code so we can take a look please?
Thanks
-Rich
