.
var expect = require('chai').expect
describe('clone', function () {
var clone = require('./clone.js')
it('some description string', function () {
// YOUR CODE HERE
expect(clone(objectForCloning).to.match
})
})
function clone (objectForCloning) {
return Object.assign({}, objectForCloning)
}
module.exports = clone

- the parentheses are unbalanced (two opens but only one close)
- "objectForCloning" is undefined in clone_spec.js (it's a parameter in clone.js)
- you'll need to create an appropriate object to test the clone method with
- the argument to "match" is missing
- "match" is for testing strings using regular expressions, not for testing objects
- check the documentation for the proper method, remember you want to confirm all properties
